Here you will find out things we need to let you know about such as holiday information, last minute announcements and reminders.
For over 25 years, we have been providing childcare services in one of the most multi-cultural wards in the UK.
Our experience has taught us that mothers-to-be and mothers from our BAME communities do not always feel that they get the most appropriate support during their pregnancies. We believe that there is a need for a more transcultural approach, one that takes account of the cultural backgrounds and expectations of our mothers-to-be and new mothers.
We want to connect mothers with mothers so that, with our help, advice, and information they can share experiences and expectations of being a BAME mother in Sheffield.
We want to set up a group that can meet regularly to share stories about what has worked well and
the needs of BAME mothers in terms of their ante-natal care and their journey into parenthood.
Would you or someone you know be interested in joining our group?
Please let us know by commenting below or get in touch with us directly for a confidential chat about your needs.
We look forward to hearing from you.
